Sea World with Elmo!

Today was Sea World! The biggest thing we wanted to see today was the Elmo and Abbey Caddabey's Treasure Hunt show, but we stopped to play and look at some things on our way to the theatre. I got to see some dolphins up close at the dolphin nursery. I also stopped to watch some geese.

I really wanted to climb over and see the geese, but mom said that might not be a good idea.

After watching the show, stopping to see the penguins and puffins, and splashing around a bit, we sat down to eat lunch near the big sandboxes. My favorite part of lunch was the "baby oranges" mom brought along.

Here I am splashing around at the splash pad. I didn't want to play "with" the other kids, but I liked watching them and playing around them. Mom brought some bubbles, too, and we had fun blowing and chasing bubbles.

I was so excited to see Elmo! When the show finally started, I just had to dance and scream a little bit. It was so much fun!

Missing My Daddy-Day. . . .

Our day started with a trip to Kid's Gym. I decided to make the tumble track a bit more exciting today by bringing a friend with me down the track. (See the green bean-bag frog on the track?) It was fun!
This is my new favorite way to walk on the parallel bars. I call it the "Monkey Crawl".

Miss Melissa helped me flip upside down on the bar. I didn't like that very much.

Finally, it was time for Bye Bye ball and stamps! Yay!
After "Hop Hop", we made our way to the library for storytime. I stopped to feed the rooster a few of my tiny goldfish crackers. He was very appreciative.

After storytime was over, a bunch of kids went behind the puppet stage and were playing with the puppets (unmonitored by parents!). Mom didn' t let me join in, but I got a kick out of watching the puppets "play" on their stage.

Today, I did the whole "3 Little Pigs" puzzle at the library all by myself!

After the library, mom decided to take me for a special lunch at my favorite place: Chick-fil-a. Here I am enjoying a delicious nugget. How about that? A Nugget eating a nugget!

Just paying around at the table with mommy . . . . waiting for my turn at face painting.

Hmmmmm . . . what kind of trouble can I get into now??
One of my favorite things at Chick-fil-a is the fresh flowers on all of the tabletops. Mom got a few pictures, then she had to put the camera down to prevent me from pulling out all the flowers and breaking the vases.
These are some pretty pictures. (The flowers are pretty nice, too)

Don't I justlook like I'm about to do something mischevious? (I probably am!)
I wanted face paint by Ms. Carolyn, but then I got scared. So, mommy had to go first and then I wasn't so scared. We both got flowers.
There were a lot of kids on the playground. I was both excited and scared to play "with" other kids. Mom watched me climb up to the slide, but I was hidden from her sight for a long time. Then, I finally made an appearance as the "caboose" in this "kid-train" that came down the slide. I was a bit shaken up after that, but not too bad. I wanted to go again!

Mom had to wake me up from my nap to go to swim lessons today. As always, I got a "pop" after I worked so hard at swim lessons. Yum!

Before my lesson starts, I like to watch the other kids swimming or getting ready for their lessons. Mrs. Tracy put this "Nani-size" chair out on the porch so kids my size could have a place to wait before their lessons. I like this chair!

After swim lessons, we came home and just played. The best game we played was "Mommy-let-me-spray-the-rubber-frogs". Mom should have taken video because I got a few really good giggles out of that game!

Then, while mom was on the phone with dad, I took a picture of myself! Explain THIS one to the guys at photomat, dad!

Hi Dad! Today we went to Chick-fil-a for "Toddler Time". It was a lot of fun! I wish you could have been with us, but I made Mom take lots of pictures to share with you! I love you!
I look like I am praying to the Chick-fil-a gods, don't I?
At the end of the morning, I had a balloon, a cow mask, 2 egg crafts, a book, and 2 colored flowers to take home with me! What a morning.

Here I am coloring some flowers with other friends. The baby next to me really liked touching my face, but I wasn't too crazy about that.

I picked a "green" egg to make for Grandma. I got to put foamy stickers and "zig zags" on it! Then, the craft helper put some glitter on it for me!

Even Mom got to have her picture taken with me!

They put on som Veggie Tales music and I just had to dance!

Today was a "regular" day, but we did our best to make it fun and extra-special. We went to Hop Hop and I got to do one of my favorite dances, "the Chicken Dance". Ms. Melissa was there today and for some reason, I was really excited for her to be there. I followed her around the gym and did whatever she did! I found an orange cone to play with while I was there and I really enjoyed taking it down the slide, jumping on the trampoline with it and running around wtih it. We then went to the Casselberry library to hear some stories and sing some songs. It was a lot of fun because the stories were all about bunnies and carrots ("Raindrops and Rabbits" and "The Carrot Seed") so I really enjoyed the bunny puppets. I even got another stamp (besides the one I always get at Hop Hop) that had Easter eggs on it! Then, we went home and mommy and me played with face paint! Here are some pictures of the things I asked mommy to paint on me.

Big Girl Bed!

Here I am on the first morning after I slept in my big girl bed. I stayed there all night long!

Sunday morning (4/5), mom came to get me up for church and found me trying to climb out of the crib. Though discussions had been breached about transitioning to a bed, my parents were not ready to make the transition quite this soon. However, I was more than ready . . .
