Today we headed to Sea World because the Elmo and Abby Treasure Hunt show was back on the schedule. It was really hot out there and the park was a lot more crowded than last month. We spent most of our time indoors, but we did a little bit outside as well. (A little bit was all that we could stand in the heat!)

First we headed to Penguin Encounter, but my favorite part of this attraction is actually the Puffins and the
Murres, which are birds that are similar to penguins, but slightly smaller with different coloring. I like to watch those birds "take a bath".

The very last thing I did today (after the Elmo show, the penguins, the splash pad, the sandbox and lunch) was ride the Jazzy Jellies. As you can tell, I was not exactly "jazzy" about this idea once I was on the ride. I was too tired, but I enjoyed it a little bit.

Even though I told mom that the splash pad was my favorite part of the day, Mom thinks that meeting Elmo and Abby in person was really my favorite part. I did a little dance for them, gave them high fives, and (of course) shared some hugs with them. It was a lot of fun!

I really like to put leaves in the fountain outside the Penguin Encounter. Mom likes to take my picture here, but she's always nervous that I am going to fall in. Here I am responding to mom's verbal request to "smile!". You like?

It's amazing how penguins can sleep standing up! I was more interested in the "
wakey" penguins.

I had a lot of fun in this particular part of the splash pad. i got brave and decided to put my head in the water stream - mom got it on film! I thought this was a funny exercise. I also shared my frogs and duck with other "babies" and I was very, very nice about it. Mom was so impressed. I did it of my own accord with very little prompting.

Some more fun at the splash pad, which I said was my favorite part of Sea World when mom asked me later on while we were driving home.

Running, running, running around in my "
aquasox".

After all that splashing, I was pooped. We ate some lunch (well, I ate raisins and mom ate lunch) and then relaxed in the sandbox for awhile.
