Chaotic Cat Day!

Today was a bit crazy, but also quite typical. We piled the cat into her carrier and took her off to the vet for a "groom" (a.k.a. to be shaved). I wanted to bring my new orange cat-friend. It's a bean bag toy called a "meanie" and it has a few bumps and bruises of its own. I wanted it to see the "kitty doctor".

After we dropped Kitty off at the vet, we stopped by the bank to use the ATM, which turned out to be broken. We went inside to withdraw some cash and I immediately asked for a blue pop. Mom obliged, but did not get pictures. By the time we got back to the car I was a sticky blue mess from head to toe. I see a new package of baby wipes in mommy's future.

We headed out to the library for story time, but not before going through the drive-thru at Starbucks. (It was RIGHT by the bank and mommy couldn't resist). She got me my very own "baby coffee", which turned out to be "cow milk" and I liked that just fine.

(Kitty didn't like the bandanna they put on her, so I shared it with my little pink cat instead. Here we are eating our lunch together)

We stopped by Hungry Howie's Pizza on the way home from the library to take advantage of their "Wacky Wednesday" deal, which is a $4 large pizza. I ate a pretty big slice for lunch once we got home. The best part was the "twirly seat" near the take-out counter. Mommy helped me spin round and round while we waited for our pizza. See my boo-boos! (The story about how I got my boo boos is below).

(When I first woke up today, I played "ride the turtle" or quite a while. I'm a bit bigger than the turtle, but it was still fun).

BOO BOOS! -

Outside the library, I got excited because I got to feed the rooster some cheese crackers. I got so excited that I was running down the sidewalk toward the library and fell down on my knees. I got 2 scrapes - 1 on each knee. I didn't even cry. Mom had planned for this event so well! (yeah right!). So, after discovering that mom had left her library card at home (and me with 2 scraped knees), we headed home to get band aids and a library card. Then, we headed back to the library in time for the 11:15 AM story time. It was worth it because the puppet show today was about a Mama Pig and a Baby Pig. It also had cows, bees and a turtle.

And now I am sleeping and the thunderstorms seem to be on their way. I miss you, Daddy! I hope to see you soon! When I woke up this morning, the first thing I said was "Daddy is here." Once mom broke the news that you'd gone to work, I said, "Daddy come back." I can't wait to see you tomorrow! :)
