Lunch!

I started with a fancy appetizer of "Bee-na", but I actually am calling it a banana these days. Yumm-o!

The best part of my meal was the olives - I love to put them on my fingers! Yay!

"No mommy! By Nani self!" (That's how I like to eat my soup)

Friday 2/27/09 (Mom forgets camera!)

Today was a slower-paced day compared to Sea World yesterday. We went to Kid's Gym (hop hop) and mommy forgot her camera!!! It was a shame, too, because I took a ride in the 2-person swing with a cute little girl my age and we were both holding orange basketballs (small ones, of course). We looked like little twins.

We stopped by the park on the way to Target (Sam Smith Park) and I was mostly excited to go down the tunnel slide. I kept talking about going down the tunnel slide while we were driving to the park. I saw one of my old buddies from Kindermusik at the park (Jack and his mommy, Melanie), but mom didn't get pics of that, either.

Here's what mom DID get pics of today: Once we got home, I played in my tutu for awhile and then I added my "sleepytime friends" (along with my new potty) into the mix, as well. Take a look:

Sea World Part II

Here are a few more pics from our trip today.
They had cute little rocking chairs just my size. Don't you love my little grimace?

I'm checkingout the Rockhopper penguins. Nice hair, penguins!

Mom got kind of queasy on the Jazzy Jellyfish ride, but I had a lot of fun!

Just relaxing in the sand!

Sea World Today! 2-26-09

Despite our very late start to the day, we went to Sea World. We started at the Penguin Encounter (lots of very loud giggles and "excited" sounds)! I loved watching them dive and splish-splash in the water!

Then we took a stroll to the seal and sea lion feeding area. Mommy liked that a lot because you could see the animals very, very close up. I was more interested in my chocolate teddy grahams.

We stopped by to see the Clydesdale horses on our way to the Shamu Happy Harbor area. I got to pet a really, really, really big horse!

My favorite part of the day was playing in the sandboxes in the Happy Harbor area.

Before we left, I got to ride the Jazzy Jellyfish, which is like the teacups at Disney World, only these jellies go up and down as they spin around.

On our way out of the park, I ate my lunch and we stopped to see the dolphins in the dolphin nursery (just a viewing area with young dolphins and new dolphin families - mommies and babies). I really liked that!

Lunch Report 2-16-09

Sorry we don't have pictures today. I forgot the camera in the car.

We got to SeaWorld at 9 AM, bought an annual pass and met Ariel at the gate. We saw the sea lion/walrus show and the "Pets Ahoy" show (all animals that were rescued from shelters or other places - including a pig and a skunk!) before we headed to "Shamu's Happy Harbour", which is the place with all the toddler/kiddie rides. We rode some teacup-type things and the carousel before heading to the 2 HUGE sandboxes to play. We slid down slides into the sandbox and then went down some tube slides (not in the sandbox) 4 or 5 times. We ate some peanut butter and passed out in the stroller on the way to the car. Mom transferred me into my carseat (undisturbed!) and I slept for a whole hour in the car!!!

I am happy and awake now.

See you at home, Daddy!
Love,Nuggie

Lunch Report 2-17-09

Hi Daddy,

Today we went to school and (of course), I didn't even look back at mommy when she dropped me off. It was group picture day today. Mommy asked me about the group picture and I told her that I "got to hold the 'M' ", so we'll see what that means (exactly) when the picture comes back. (Maybe the kids help up letters that spelled out "MMO" for Mom's Morning Out or "Mrs. Plaskon" or something like that - who know?)

This week we are studying transportation, so I made a choo choo train in craft time today. (See my picture?) Mrs. Plaskon said I was so funny with the little stickers that go on the train (they were little circle stickers with peoples' faces) - instead of putting them on the train (like passengers), I wanted to stick them on my hands. :)

I had "appe, cheese, and noodle" for lunch (apple, cheese sandwich, and noodles). I ate every single bite!

I came home and played until it was quiet time. We watched a video and read a story and then I went to sleep at 1:35 PM (without crying!).

I miss you. I want to show you my train when you come home!

Lots of love,

Nuggie!

Lunch Report 2-18-09

Hi Daddy,

It was a great morning. We went to the library, but I forgot there was no story time this week.

So, since Mommy forgot about storytime being cancelled, we played with puzzles and looked at books for an hour. I picked up a Maisy Mouse book and checked out one of my old-time favorites, "Sheep Asleep". We read that one before my nap today.

After the library, we headed to the playground, but we had to stop to see the rooster on our way to the car. We fed him some Nilla Wafers. That's good for a rooster, right??

At the playground, we saw 2 little girls and I played "house" with one of them. She was about 3 years old. We took turns looking at each other through the plastic window of the pretend house. I stopped for a second to let Mommy snap my picture. The house was fun, but my favorite thing to do (as always) is run from slide to slide and hang/swing on the bars above the slide. See?

We drove to the Kid's Gym (hop hop) and I changed into my leotard (with some help from Mommy). I warmed up a bit on the bleachers before joining the circle. My favorite set of jingle bells to use in the morning song time is the set that is shaped like a fish. This week we're pretending to be pirates at hop hop, so we warmed up to my favorite song, "Slippery Fish", which is loosely related to pirates somehow (I guess). We also had a bounce house at hop hop and at the end of the class we tried to stab bubbles with our plastic pirate swords. Of course, I picked a pink sword.

I miss you, Daddy! Come home soon! Have a good day!

Lunch Report 2-23-09

Hi Daddy,
You got an "in-person" lunch report, so this might be a little anticlimatic, but here's the report:

1. Hop Hop - circus theme today! I played in a tent, played with popcorn on a parachute (no picture, sorry!), and I did a lot of swinging on the bars in the little gym!
2. Publix - very exciting, eh? I had fun singing and testing out my "outside" voice. Mom had to ask me to keep it down a couple of times. Oh well, in the end I got a green balloon and I got to share it with Snuffy!

3. McDonald's! I got to share my fries with Snuffy and I got a hello kitty watch (in my happy meal)! (Mr. Luis helped me put it on). They actually gave me 2 of them, so I'll save one for you so we can wear them together. :)

Love you!

Lunch Report 2-25-09

Hello Daddy,
Here is an update:

Before we went to story time, we played "nakey" for awhile and I fed some beads ("beady beadies") to Piggy while she warmed up in the windowsill.

At the library, I played with the farm puzzle and checked out a new book before story time started. The book is called "Somebunny Loves You" by Anna Dewdney (the Llama Llama author). It's all about "bad" bunnies!

I was early for story time so I did some jumping, singing and dancing before others arrived. We read stories about mice, elephants, snow dances, and watched a puppet show about the "bear who didn't care". Then I sang my favorite closing song -"skinnamarinky do".

I slept too late (and mommy was running to late) to go to hop hop today, so instead we headed to the mall to look for shoes for the daddy-daughter dance. No shoes, but we did have some fun and bought birthday cards. I tried on some boots, played on the kiddie coaster, and practiced my balance beam walking in the parking lot.

I'm tired! I ate lunch in the car on the way home (and in the mall a bit), and then went to sleep almost as soon as I got home!

Love you!
Nuggie
