Naples Zoo 12-26-07

Hello all,

Wanted to share a quick couple of pics from my trip to the zoo in Naples. Grandma and Grandpa had to work the day after Christmas so they got my parents tickets to the Naples Zoo (previously called Jungle Larry's when my Dad was a kid). Aunt Janet met us down there before work and we spent a couple hours looking at the aligators, tigers, turtles, birds, lions, and few other things. I also got to play on the playground which is the only reason I really let them take me out.

Love,
Natalie

I couldn't resist putting this pic in. Dad is acting silly and I have an expression on my face that can say so many things. Let's go with "Another aligator?"

Christmas Day 12-25-07

Merry Christmas!! (Belated)

Merry (late) Christmas everyone!

For Christmas this year Mom, Dad, and I celebrated with Daddy Ron, Grandma Moatsie, Uncle Ken, Aunt Kim, Sean, and Audrey on Christmas Eve. We met at Crowe's house in the morning for food, fun, and PRESENTS. I was still mostly crawling at that time, but I was starting to stand up and take a few steps. It would be almost two more weeks before I cruising around on only two legs. We had a good time, as usual there. Mom and Grandma Moatsie left before we opened presents to deliver Mom's meal-on-wheels route.

We came all packed so when I was about to go down for my afternoon nap we loaded up the van and headed to Naples. It's a long ride, but it was better than the time we went when I was only three months old. We got there before dark and the car was unloaded while I got ready for bed.

Christmas morning was celebrated with Grandma, Grandpa, Jan, Cooper, Kaya, Mom, Dad, and me in the living room. I was up early and played around while we waiting for Jan and Cooper to get there. By that time I was about ready for my morning nap. While I slept the adults open gifts and I woke just about the time they finished which was awesome because then all the gifts left were mine! (and I didn't have to wait for anyone)

After presents we headed over to Uncle Chunky and Aunt Nancy's for the evening events. There we met up with Uncle Dan, Aunt Wendy, Gesi, Terry, and Keith. We had the Christmas feast and I got explore all new surroundings.

I love Christmas and all the presents! I hope next year I will be able to unwrap and open all the boxes myself.

Cheers to everyone!

Grandma's famous for her decorated tree. Where'd all the presents go? Did Kaya eat them?

Grandpa couldn't resist giving me this gift. Like my slippers?

Happy Birthday to me..

Hello everyone,

I'm finally getting around to putting some pics up of my actually birthday. Dad took the day off and we spent the day just the three of us. Mom graciously packed a picnic and we went down to Lake Eola park in downtown Orlando. I can't remember now, but I was tired most of the day as you will see from the pictures.

I took my first boat ride in a swan! Mom and Dad had never taken the swan boats around Lake Eola so after some food, bird watching, and walk around the park we rented a swan boat. The swan boat is basically two seats and pedals. Mom and Dad pedals and I enjoyed the wind in my face, the perfect weather, and the big fountain the middle of the Lake.

Here are some pics from our adventure. Enjoy!

Love,
Natalie.

After the boat ride I took some time to play on the playground. Dad gives me a little push!

Family Party at the Park - 12/1/07

Good evening Everyone,

In anticipation of my first birthday we had a little family party at the park down the road. I got to wear a pretty dress to the party and got to swing, eat, and have some cake! We didn't stay too long because I was tired, it was about to rain, and another group had booked the pavillion we were at. I think it was long enough for my first party. I look forward to next year when I will invite friends and we can run and play.

My first birthday cake!

Shoveling in some cake! Wonder where I can put this frosting on my hand?

Oh, I'll put wipe my hand right on Dad's shirt. We don't have a picture of it, but afterwards I wiped my hands and mouth on Dad's shirt Dad had to take the shirt off. ;)

Time at Disney Market Place - 11/29/07

Hello again,

Right after Thanksgiving a bunch of the Mom's got together and took us kids to Disney Marketplace to tool around and see something new. It was Mom and me, April, Jennifer, Rachel, Stacey, Sam, and Steven. Here are some pics from that outing.

Here am I stealing some food from Steven's stroller.

Funny story, Mom went to get my stroller out of the back of the van when we got there and to her surprise it wasn't there. Luckily Stacey had a umbrella stroller available for me to borrow. I actually did pretty well in that thing, even took a little snooze.
