Happy Mommy's Day

Happy Mommy's Day!

Hope all you Mom's out there are having a good weekend. Our day has been slow, but at least we are getting some things done around the house. Last weekend my entire family and Grandma Moatsie took a big trip to North Carolina.

We left on a Saturday from Sanford/Orlando Airport which became my first plane ride to Chattanooga, Tennessee. In fact it was my first time out of the state. My first time I saw a moving train. My first time in Tennessee, Georgia and North Carolina. My first time I saw live chickens and goats up close. For those who are counting (Scott) that's four states down.

During our three day visit I got to see a bunch of relatives on my Mom's side. My Grandma Moatsie also had her 60th Birthday while we were up there and she got a big party with a bunch of friends and family. I got handed around quite a bit and even got some pictures that you will see below.

The only rough thing about the visit and the time leading up to it was I had a cold. Had this congestion for a few weeks and over the past few days it has just started to disappear. I am not a fan of all the techniques used to clear up my noes. Hopefully I will remain healthy for a little while.

Hope everyone is well. Hopefully in my next post I can tell you about some new changes in my fifth month.

Love,
Natalie

April 23rd

Hi Everyone,

I have a few minutes free so I will update you on my situation real quick. I had my four month shots last week. I seem to have recovered a little better this time around and the Doctor still says I'm doing good. I am really starting to enjoy my solid foods. I have had Bananas, Pears, Sweet Potatoes and Peas. Mommy got me a new front sitting thing called a Baby Bjour a couple weeks ago I am really enjoying being carried around in it. Mommy mentioned that I forgot to say on my last update that I am starting to laugh. Mom tries all sorts of things to make me laugh and I humor her from time to time and give her one or two.

Here are some pics of the last few weeks:

Happy Easter, 4 month old update

Family Easter Photo
Hey out there,

I hope everyone out there in the Internet world is doing alright. Sorry for my long wait on updates, but things have and continue to be busy. Anyway, I have lots to share.

In the past month I have started rolling over from my back to my belly. I started off a little slow, but it wasn't long before I was doing it all the time. The real bummer is that I don't know how to roll over from my belly to back so I get to my belly and get frustrated I'm there. So I started spending my nights waking up, rolling over on my belly and then crying because I am on my belly. Quite frustrating for the parents after two or three times. I'm looking forward to rolling over all the way soon and perhaps pushing up with my arms soon. I will keep you updated.

My Doctor has ordered that I start solid foods so this past weekend I have been getting my fair share of mashed bananas, (or as Mom says - "Nanners"). I haven't gotten use to the taste yet after eight or ten feedings, but I'm getting some down. Although the folks think I still get more one me than down my throat, but what do I care. I like it best when Dad puts it on his finger and lets me gnaw on his finger for a minute.

I got to meet some more relatives this past week before Easter. My Uncle Paul and Aunt Carol came down with Cousin Sara, her boyfriend Eric and his two sons Xavier and DJ. We went to Shells one day for lunch and then had dinner at Grandma Moatsie and Daddy Ron's house the next day. I got plenty of holding and we even got a few pics.

I spent my first Easter over at and Uncle Ken and Aunt Kimmie's house. Everyone had a great breakfast of french toast, eggs, sausage, coffee cake and Costa Rican coffee except me who got more milk. I got an Easter gift from Grandma Moatsie of two night time outfits I can't wait to try on. I spent most of the day bummed because I couldn't fall asleep. Oh well, one day at a time.

I'm starting to sleep a little bit better at night. I usually get up a few times, but for the most part I am easy to get back to sleep. Occasionally I still want to feed at 2 or 3am, but that is getting a little less often. Mom is starting to adopt a 8:30pm-5am sleeping pattern and we are starting our day at 5am. If I'm good through the night Mom is able to wake up rested and able to get some work done. I'm still a handful with my changing nap patterns (sometime 20-30mins and sometimes 45-60 mins), but I'm hopefully going to start a pattern any day now.

I have recently learned how to grab my feet and legs and if I'm on my back for any length of time I've probably got a handful of baby feet in my hands. Haven't figured out how to get them to my mouth yet, but I'm sure I can figure that mystery out.

Well off to bed with me. I hope to have another update in two weeks since I have a lot photos I want to show off.

Love you all, Natalie

Vacation - 3/19/07 Update

Hello world!

Wow, it has been another two weeks already since my last update. I just got back from a week's vacation with the family. We all went down to Naples for several days and then a quick trip over to Boca Raton to see some good friends of my parents while they were visiting from Denver.

The trip to Naples took about six hours (two more than it did before I came along). We had to make a few stops to feed and I was mostly uncomfortable in the car seat. However, since we have the van Mom was able to sit with me and it was much better than it could have been. Dad was amazed with all the stuff we had/wanted to take, but it fit in the van nicely and we still had room if we needed it.

While in Naples we got to see Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Janet and Cooper, Aunt Wendy, Uncle Dan and Gesi, and Uncle Chunky. For Aunt Wendy, Uncle Dan and Gesi it was the first time for me to meet them. We had a good meal at Olive Garden.

We left Naples on Thursday and went to Boca Raton to see Andrew, Moriah and Isabella. We were able to spend some time with them over a dinner, lunch and some time walking in the mall. It was good to meet them and I could tell my parents were glad to see them again. They kept talking about a Keys vacation when I get a bit older.

Overall the ride home from Boca was long since we had to make several stops to feed and get cleaned. Also the traffic on I-95 was terrible as usual, but God was with us on the Beachline and Expressway with no traffic on a Friday at 5:30pm.

Here are some pics for the week. Take care and talk to you soon. Natalie.

Three Months Old Today!

Hello!

Today celebrates three months for me being out in the world. To think I have come a long way and I have so much more to go. Sorry for the two week delay on an update, but Dad got the flu last weekend and everyone had extra duties since he was out of usefulness for several days. Gladly he is back to feeling better so some pictures were taken and an update could be made.

A week ago my U. Chunky and A. Nancy came up from Naples to visit with their son and made time for us all to meet for dinner. I got to meet them and very much enjoyed the visit. Unfortunately no pictures were taken. I also got to meet their son Mike and daughter-in-law Vanessa. It was nice to meet everyone and I was mostly good for the meal. I think that was also my first time sleeping through the night. Now if I could only remember how I did that. This past Wednesday was Aunt Nancy's birthday!

In another week the family plans to make our first long road trip to Naples. Hopefully it will go well even though we will need to make a few stops for feeding. As for the usual update we continue to work on sleep at night as I keep changing my schedule through the night. Dad and I have been doing a nightly walks around the neighborhood and Mom is gearing up for some classes she is about to teach.

Hope you all have a good week and I'll see you on the flip side.

Nat
