Today we went to a "brand new library" (as I called it) to hear stories. Maitland Public Library does story time for the kids every Thursday morning. The library itself was closed due to a book sale today, so they held story time in the Maitland Civic Center. I got to play with lots of puppets (ducks, penguins, a "Nemo" fish and a monkey, too). My friend, Clara was there, too. We both like ducks (as you can see). I got a picture of a boat to color, too! (Don't I look soooo interested in the boat?)
After the story time was over, I walked with mommy to the park nextdoor. We saw ducks and ibises along the way, but I wasn't very interested in them. Maybe next time we'll bring some food for them. I also saw a very large snail shell along the way on the ground, but I lost it. It was really neat!
I really enjoyed the swing today! There were lots of things to climb and the park is nicely shaded with trees. Lots of fun with "babies" (my favorite phrase nowadays)!
