Almost July! Summer Times

Gee, Gee, Ouu, I mean Hello world!

Hi again. It is near the end of June and I am almost ready to turn seven months! Let me update you on the past few weeks.

Last Tuesday, June 19th I went in for my six months shots. I am in the 25 percentile as far as height (25 inches) and below the chart in weight (12lbs 12 ounces).. finally doubling my birth weight, but not enough to stay on the chart. The Doctor didn't seem worried since I am still progressing. Dad noted that I was up 8 ounces in two weeks since the last time I was in prior with a viral infection. I guess that's good, but maybe I'm a little just a little petite girl.

Grandma and Grandpa from Naples came up for Father's day (6/17) and Grandma's birthday (6/16/07). We went to a BBQ over at the Waterston's house and I got to swing in a home depot race car on a full swing set. It was a good weekend.

Let me think of things I can do now. I am enjoying stage two baby food and still trying to find the right sippy cup or way to get some juices in my body. Sometimes I will take it from a cup and Mom has found sometimes she can squirt some in my mouth with a straw, but I haven't really taken to one thing I like best. I do enjoy some juicy fruits through a baby strainer device that I just gnaw on for a while.

I have start to enjoy my Johnny Jumper a little more lately. I can stand it (or bounce in it) for quite awhile as long as someone I love is in visible range.

In my Johnny jumper gear
I have started getting out of the house a bit. I have been to Miss Connie's (Day care) house twice now. She is the nice lady who watches Paige (my neighbor) a few times a week. I am trying to start a routine of going there on Wednesday mornings for four hours. The first time I went I cried for awhile and then took a long nap. The second time I went I cried for a few minutes and seemed to have a decent time. I am experiencing some separation anxiety so we are trying some new things so maybe it won't be so bad. I have been trying to go to Grandma Moatsie's once a week for a few hours (to get me out of the house) and I have had babysitter Julie (new person, but at my home) come over once watch me. Mom and Dad finally had a date last Monday (6/18) when Miss Julie came over for two and half hours. Mom and Dad went to Houston's and I heard had a good time together.
I have gotten in the pool two more times and humor my parents for a little while before requesting I get out. I am doing much better at sitting up and properly motivated I can do it by myself for quite awhile. I got an opportunity to go see my Uncle Ken and Aunt Kimmie a few Sunday's ago. It was nice to sit down with them for awhile.

Well I am going to run off. I woke with a temperature today and a little rash and my Mommy is taking care of me all by herself tonight since Dad had to go to a training in St. Petersburg. Hope to see you all soon. Here is a cute pic of me in the tub and a couple with my favorite Mommy in the whole world. God Bless and please pray for healing on my cold.

Six Months Old!!

Good Evening all my peeps!

As of tomorrow I will be six months old. While I'm sure it has felt like a long time for my folks it feels like just yesterday I was sitting in my bumbo trying some new foods or moving from my cradle to my crib in my very own room. I can't wait to see what another six months will bring.. maybe I'll finally be mobile!?

Well lets see.. this month I have been downing my fair share of solid foods. My favorites are Squash, Apples, Sweet Potatoes, Prunes, Carrots and Peas. Mom has been working with me every day to try and teach me the other half of rolling over (from my tummy to my back) and been working with me on trying to stay sitting up. I'm not sure I care for all this work, but I give it a try when I'm not too tired.
Mom and Dad really like taking me for walks out to the store in my Bjorn. It makes traveling with an awake baby so much easier. Mom takes me to the grocery and miscellaneous errands all the time. Dad took me to Lowes the other day where we loaded up on more sprinkler equipment for repairs.

The past two weekends I have had family come visit me.

Grandpa and Grandma came up first, two weekends ago, and we all had a good time. Mom left for a little outing with her sister and Mom while the four of us hung out around the house. We got a few pictures while they visited.

Dad, Grandpa and me waiting for Mom to click the camera.

Memorial day weekend my Aunt Janet came by with her boyfriend Cooper and their dog. We played around the house quite a bit. I somehow found a way to get a mild fever so I was off and on fussy for them. I've had the mild fever for a week now and visited the Doctor yesterday. They couldn't find anything wrong with me so they said it should pass in a few days. We did find out that my weight is 12 pounds 4 ounces. Mom and Dad think I'm starting to teethe since I've been fussy lately and extra interested in sucking on things. Lets hope that they're right so we can get over this mild fever.

Well even though my birthday is tomorrow, Mom and Dad couldn't wait to give me some new toys. I'll post some of those pictures next time.

Hope all is well with all of you. Here are some pics from the past couple of weekends.

Enjoy!

Love,

Natalie

Happy Mommy's Day

Happy Mommy's Day!

Hope all you Mom's out there are having a good weekend. Our day has been slow, but at least we are getting some things done around the house. Last weekend my entire family and Grandma Moatsie took a big trip to North Carolina.

We left on a Saturday from Sanford/Orlando Airport which became my first plane ride to Chattanooga, Tennessee. In fact it was my first time out of the state. My first time I saw a moving train. My first time in Tennessee, Georgia and North Carolina. My first time I saw live chickens and goats up close. For those who are counting (Scott) that's four states down.

During our three day visit I got to see a bunch of relatives on my Mom's side. My Grandma Moatsie also had her 60th Birthday while we were up there and she got a big party with a bunch of friends and family. I got handed around quite a bit and even got some pictures that you will see below.

The only rough thing about the visit and the time leading up to it was I had a cold. Had this congestion for a few weeks and over the past few days it has just started to disappear. I am not a fan of all the techniques used to clear up my noes. Hopefully I will remain healthy for a little while.

Hope everyone is well. Hopefully in my next post I can tell you about some new changes in my fifth month.

Love,
Natalie

April 23rd

Hi Everyone,

I have a few minutes free so I will update you on my situation real quick. I had my four month shots last week. I seem to have recovered a little better this time around and the Doctor still says I'm doing good. I am really starting to enjoy my solid foods. I have had Bananas, Pears, Sweet Potatoes and Peas. Mommy got me a new front sitting thing called a Baby Bjour a couple weeks ago I am really enjoying being carried around in it. Mommy mentioned that I forgot to say on my last update that I am starting to laugh. Mom tries all sorts of things to make me laugh and I humor her from time to time and give her one or two.

Here are some pics of the last few weeks:

Happy Easter, 4 month old update

Family Easter Photo
Hey out there,

I hope everyone out there in the Internet world is doing alright. Sorry for my long wait on updates, but things have and continue to be busy. Anyway, I have lots to share.

In the past month I have started rolling over from my back to my belly. I started off a little slow, but it wasn't long before I was doing it all the time. The real bummer is that I don't know how to roll over from my belly to back so I get to my belly and get frustrated I'm there. So I started spending my nights waking up, rolling over on my belly and then crying because I am on my belly. Quite frustrating for the parents after two or three times. I'm looking forward to rolling over all the way soon and perhaps pushing up with my arms soon. I will keep you updated.

My Doctor has ordered that I start solid foods so this past weekend I have been getting my fair share of mashed bananas, (or as Mom says - "Nanners"). I haven't gotten use to the taste yet after eight or ten feedings, but I'm getting some down. Although the folks think I still get more one me than down my throat, but what do I care. I like it best when Dad puts it on his finger and lets me gnaw on his finger for a minute.

I got to meet some more relatives this past week before Easter. My Uncle Paul and Aunt Carol came down with Cousin Sara, her boyfriend Eric and his two sons Xavier and DJ. We went to Shells one day for lunch and then had dinner at Grandma Moatsie and Daddy Ron's house the next day. I got plenty of holding and we even got a few pics.

I spent my first Easter over at and Uncle Ken and Aunt Kimmie's house. Everyone had a great breakfast of french toast, eggs, sausage, coffee cake and Costa Rican coffee except me who got more milk. I got an Easter gift from Grandma Moatsie of two night time outfits I can't wait to try on. I spent most of the day bummed because I couldn't fall asleep. Oh well, one day at a time.

I'm starting to sleep a little bit better at night. I usually get up a few times, but for the most part I am easy to get back to sleep. Occasionally I still want to feed at 2 or 3am, but that is getting a little less often. Mom is starting to adopt a 8:30pm-5am sleeping pattern and we are starting our day at 5am. If I'm good through the night Mom is able to wake up rested and able to get some work done. I'm still a handful with my changing nap patterns (sometime 20-30mins and sometimes 45-60 mins), but I'm hopefully going to start a pattern any day now.

I have recently learned how to grab my feet and legs and if I'm on my back for any length of time I've probably got a handful of baby feet in my hands. Haven't figured out how to get them to my mouth yet, but I'm sure I can figure that mystery out.

Well off to bed with me. I hope to have another update in two weeks since I have a lot photos I want to show off.

Love you all, Natalie
