Trampoline and Tapping Sticks!

Tapping sticks is my favorite game/song at "Hop Hop", and I was so happy that we got to do this one today with Paige!! We tap our sticks, hold them in the air, roll them on the floor, and (my favorite) make bunny ears with them!
Paige did a great job tapping her tapping sticks! (Mommy didn't do such a great job avoiding the red-eye with her camera, though)

Here we go again! More tapping . . . .

We all got to jump on the "BIG" trampoline, but mom couldn't get pictures of that. She was too busy playing referee and keeping Paige and me from falling off the trampoline. So, later on, Paige got to do some jumping on the little trampoline while mom took some pictures. (There's just no way to get really good jumping pictures, but Paige sure had a lot of fun!)

Friends at the Kid's Gym!

Now, let's see. What was I going to do once I got in this birdie boat?? Oh yeah, "Mommy can you pull me please?"
Come on, Paige! You can do it! Just climb right up that mountain where Abby is waiting!

Ms. Melissa helped me climb all the way to the top of the mountain so I could peek inside and see Abby. "Peek-a-boo, Abby!"

Paige started to climb up the monkey bars, but decided there were too many other fun things in the "Little Gym" to waste her time on these silly bars. Now, off to the trampouline!

Girls Day Out!

Today my neighbor, Paige came over and we had a great time! We packed up the car and headed out to story time at the library. They read Green Eggs and Ham in honor of Dr. Suess' birthday, we sang some songs ("Head, shoulders, knees, and toes", and my favorite one - "Skinnamarink"), and we watched a puppet show about a kitten who lost her purr. Mom couldn't take many pictures in storytime because it would be too disruptive, so we went and did some puzzles in the library. Paige's daddy would be so proud of her! She picked the puzzle with the "diggers" and the trucks! She finished her puzzle really quickly and, as you can see, she then tried to help me finish my favorite puzzle . . . the number puzzle! It was fun.
I decided that the pieces in the farm puzzle (especially the chicken) looked a lot more like a stamp than a puzzle piece, and so I tried to "stamp" the chicken on my hand.
We waved to the "resident rooster" in the parking lot on our way to "hop hop", otherwise known as the Kid's Gym.

"Sick Day" = "Chick" day! 3/2/09

After breakfast, we headed out to the playground. I climbed up the stairs a few times, but I was afraid to slide down the slide. A little boy came out to play and held my hand all the way up the stairs and showed me to the slide. He slid down with me and I seemed to like that, but I was a little bit "weirded out" by the kid, too. Overall, I had a great time.

I love Chick-fil-A!
After lunch, mom ran a couple of errands and then we just came home to have some lunch and watch Sesame Street with my "sleepytime friends".

Once we got inside the restaurant, we got some chicken minis (little baby chicken biscuits) and some hash browns. Mom paid for breakfast completely with dimes, which I found very thrilling. I "helped" her count out the dimes. I drank ALL my milk, too! We had fun eating, talking, and I liked showing Mom how well I could chew my food.

Yum!

I was singing my Chick-fil-a song, "Chick-fi-lay, lay, lay"

Tick, tock, tick, tock, . . . Moo!

Today I was feeling under the weather, so we didn't mix and mingle with too many other kids. We decided to head out to Chick-fil-a for breakfast and some playground fun. On our way into the restaurant, my favorite thing happened! The garbage truck came to take out the Chick-fil-a trash! I like to tell Mommy how the garbage truck says, "BAM!".

Over the weekend, we were invited to share some burgers and backyard fun with our friends the Lattimers. I got to play with my cousins Audrey and Sean and I also got to play with the Lattimer girls, who are a bit closer to my own age. Here are the "3 little pigs" hiding out in the playhouse. Before we left, Dad let me try on his hardhat from work. Maybe I'll grow into it. What do you think?
